Level 2 NVQ in Plant Operations
The NVQ Level 2 in Plant Operations (Construction) is aimed for Plant Operators who wish to advance from the red trained operator card issued by CPCS or NPORS to the blue competent operator card by demonstrating their proficiency in their chosen field.
Course Aim
With this course, Plant operators who choose one of the several routes related to their job functions can earn a nationally recognised certification with the Level 2 NVQ in Plant Operations (Construction). You will learn abilities like signalling and directing the weights on heavy machines by obtaining this NVQ qualification in plant operations.
Course Description
This course supports the Learner to learn fundamental and transferable practical skills with related underpinning knowledge. Also, the industry will accept the qualification on its own as entry to a job role. Candidates will need to have a portfolio of work-based evidence. An on-site assessment is also required.

- Binder Spreader NVQ
- Self Propelled Spreaders NVQ
- Towed Scrapers NVQ
