NRSWA SUPERVISOR TRAINING COURSE

The 5-day NRSWA StreetWorks Supervisor course is designed for individuals interested in monitoring work under the New Roads and Street works Act 1991. It obligates any individual or association undertaking work, including the establishment, restoration, support or inspection of underground device/apparatus in any road or street, to guarantee that skilful people control work.

Units

The course comprises the learning of varied units like NRSWA LA - Location and Avoidance of Underground Apparatus, NRSWA S1 - Monitoring signing, Lighting and Guarding, NRSWA S2 - Monitoring Excavation in the Highway, NRSWA S3 - Monitoring Reinstatement of Backfill Materials, NRSWA S4 - Monitoring Reinstatement of Sub-Base and Base in Non-Bituminous Materials, NRSWA S5 - Monitoring Reinstatement in Bituminous Materials, NRSWA S7 - Monitoring Reinstatement of Modular Surfaces and Concrete Footways.

Specifications

NRSWA course includes practical assessments and questionnaires associated with the modules discussed in the Unit. A written test comprising multiple choice questions will be taken to provide a certificate that has a validity of 5 years.
