EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK COURSE

This course is intended to train individuals the emergency first aid. It is particularly designed for designated first aiders, generally safe workplaces, like little workplaces. The course covers protocols of first aid related to adult causalities. Individuals require a basic command of English characterized as Level 2. This 1-day Emergency first aid at work course is reasonable for individuals who are 16+ and could have to give medical aid to somebody who is harmed or turns out to be sick while working. It is suitable for organisations whose first aid needs evaluation has distinguished a necessity for somebody to hold an emergency treatment at work.
On the successful completion of this course, you will receive an Emergency first aid at work certificate which is valid for three years by the British Red Cross. This course meets the requirements specified by the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.

This course gives essential life-saving emergency treatment training and skills in the work environment, health and security guidelines, covering adult resuscitation (CPR), burns and scalds, choking adult, communication and casualty care, defibrillator prompts and response, defibrillator pad placement, minor and severe bleeding, the role of the first aider, shock, unresponsive adult.
This course also provides knowledge including assessing a casualty, monitoring a casualty, electrical incidents, accident recording and reporting the control of substances hazardous to health (COSHH).
