This course is intended to introduce an overview of CAT and Genny cable avoidance tools/signal generators and to exhibit how to utilize them productively, securely, and lawfully. It covers varied topics, including maintenance of equipment. The fundamental point of this course is to give students the information and understanding they need to work with CAT and Genny equipment securely and precisely. The training course offers learning of cable avoidance operations to locate underground services.
Safety and Legislation
The CAT and genny course provides the delegates with the knowledge and skills of working in line with guidance from HSG 47 to avoid danger from underground services. The ability of required PPE, utility services, and safe usage of cable detector/ pipe detector.
Analysis and Action
The course will give you a brief understanding of identifying and reading gas, electricity, water, telecom services plans, and damaged and undamaged underground services with ground-penetrating radar.
