BASIC SCAFFOLD INSPECTION

This course will provide the candidates with the knowledge of regulations, the information associated with components of a scaffold, and the stability and the necessities of a scaffold inspection. It is the duty of the employer to assess the skills of an individual related to scaffold inspection. The 3-Day Basic Scaffold Inspection Course is focused on anybody who has inspection and signing off duties associated with scaffold structure as per Working At Height Regulation 2005. This course will teach you the legislation including BS EN 12811 part 1, TG20:21, SG4:15 and HSE. The identification of safe working loads, the difference between carried scaffold systems, safe working practices for ladders, safe erection and alteration, and dismantling procedures as mentioned in SG4:15.

Inspection

Inspection of Scaffolding includes safe accessing of scaffold, ladder, egress, mobile static, loading tower, tagging systems and practical scaffold inspection exercise.

Terminolgy and Legislation

The basic scaffolding course will teach you the legislation including BS EN 12811 part 1, TG20:21, SG4:15, HSE, the Work at Height Regulations 2005 and British, European and Industry Standards (NASC). The different types of scaffolding structures like tubes, fittings, boards, fan boards, public protection, and bracing and tying scaffolds.
